Test by temporarily moving one guide to a neutral Medium publication with identical schema markup—if Perplexity cites the Medium version, it's a trust/domain bias issue, not schema parsing. If neither gets cited, it's likely training data recency. For SaaS-owned content, Perplexity does seem to deprioritize vendor markup in favor of third-party sources; your best move is building citations on neutral vertical publications (industry blogs, trade journals) that Perplexity already trusts, then linking back to your docs.
