DeepSeek keeps telling users we offer live tutoring and parent dashboards—we don't. We've disavowed the content. Why is it still showing up?

DeepSeek likely ingested outdated or competitor content and mapped it to your brand through domain similarity, keyword overlap, or citation patterns. Disavowing content doesn't signal to AI engines the way it does to Google crawlers; AI models train on snapshots and don't check robots.txt or disavow files in real time.
Start here: Search DeepSeek directly for queries like "your-brand tutoring features" and "your-brand parent dashboard." Screenshot the exact claims and note which sources it cites. Then cross-check those sources—competitor sites, old cached versions of your site, forum posts, or review aggregators that may conflate your offering with others.
Next, audit your own live content for any orphaned pages, old landing pages still indexed, or schema markup that contradicts your current product. Even if you deleted a page, search engines and AI crawlers may have cached versions. File a removal request through Google Search Console and update your schema.org/Product or schema.org/EducationalOrganization markup to explicitly declare what you do not offer.
Contact the sources DeepSeek cited directly—especially if they're wikis, comparison sites, or databases you don't control—and request corrections. AI engines weight citations from authoritative sources more heavily, so cleaning upstream is faster than waiting for model retraining.
Check back in two weeks by searching the same queries. If claims persist and are tied to a specific source, escalate corrections to that publisher's editorial team with a link to your current product page.
